Weiqian Cai

PhD Student

Weiqian received his B.E. and M.S. degrees, both in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2017 and 2020, respectively. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, TX, USA. His research interests include modeling and control on control and implementation of grid-forming inverters, grid-tied inverters,  and machine emulation control.
